Kolton's Poems

Acrostic Poem
                                                                                     Free Verse Poem
Keeping my eye
On  the ball in baseball                                              It disappears at night
Letting the running backs                                          Which no one can see
Through the holes                                                      It howls loudly
Opportunity of making it in the                                 And has magnificent hearing
Net in basketball                                                        In the woods they are silent
                                                                                   It can smell it's prey
Throwing the ball to a base                                       From miles away
Running to the other                                                  Coming in packs
End of the court                                                         To take down something giant
Nudging through for a tackle
That's my acrostic poem

Cinquain Poem                        Alliteration Poem

It's me                                     A Richeila lives in Russia with brother Rodrigo
That one person                      Richeila eats Raisins, Red Cabbage, Rice Milk, and Raisin Bran
No one sees or knows me       Richeila likes Rhinos, ramps, and rampages
From the start to the finish line     Richeila roller skates round a ranch with rabbits
They will                                    Richeila ripped my ruffled raincoat in the rain

Me Poem

I like sports and music                                            Any Rhyme Scheme Poem
and doing card tricks
I like holidays and seasons                                   The snow is falling, with a cold
Especially, Christmas Mornings                          A holiday is coming, when kids are joyful and good
I love to hear the bell ring                                   Santa is flying, a sled with reindeer
so I can go home and start chilling                      Happiness of kids ripping, knowing Christmas is here
After they are opening, nothing's as good as drinking
                                                                             a hot cup of cocoa
Experience Poem                                               When kids feel that gift in their hands, laughing, and
hugging it as much as they can
Outside at night, with a cold breeze                    Kids smell that ham in teh oven baking, and drinking
Looking up at stars of past lives                          their milk nog
I sometimes wonder,                                            Later kids go outside sledding, whenever they hear
up there if someone can help me                         the sled go fast on snow
As long I know that those who care                    When night is here and time for sleeping, they look
I can look up and                                                  at their gifts and sleep with a smile
And won't be the person I used to  be                  Merry Christmas to whoever is listening, and good                                                                                  day to all
