Airplane (me poem)
I want to fly in the sky in a metal bird
soaring high above the clouds with birds
Watching the clouds fly by and then I come back
down to earth and wait to fly again, flipping all the
switches and pressing all the buttons then the
engines start and I am flying.
Mountains (free verse)
They stand sturdy and strong, standing tall
above the world, they were created long ago
watching the world grow and grow they sit in
silence through the wind and snow standing tall
they have always been there, to some they mean
challenges to others they mean hope, but they have
Always been there.
